Farewell, 2011

What can I say? A very fruitful year. I can only be grateful for what I have now. I feel content very easily, just with my solitude and favourite music. Yes, these are enough. (What a freak!)
This year I sort of made my dream come true, which is to live for a while in Germany. And therefore I stayed in the very lovely city of Aachen for 10 weeks. I feel really sad how soon the 10 weeks have gone by! Alongside I have started to pick up my German for the first time after I left school for ten years. I was always very fond of learning German, and what a joy that I have got time to do it! I feel this kind of funny. Though my major was English literature, I identify myself more with the Continent rather than British islands, let alone America. The fact that the Continent itself is so rich in culture and diversity has always fascinated me!
As for the upcoming 2012, I only hope that all the people around me are well, healthy and happy. I will be back in Taiwan in 2nd half 2012, but before that I hope I can at least see some concerts here in Europe. What a pity if I stay in a city where one can enjoy two concerts of Matthäuspassion on the same day but have never been to any one of the concerts? Not to mention that Salzburg lies just within 2 hours ride from Munich!!!

To the best of 2012.
