It has been raining for the whole week. I have been really tied down recently because we are about to kick off a new project. Don't know why but since this Monday, this song keeps coming up to my mind and I would start to hum.
The feeling of this song just fits my mood well perhaps. Or I am too tired of the rain and the humid little town I am living.
Remember when I was studying in Hamburg. One day we walked with a few German students in the campus. They were wondering and asking us, "why do you guys like to stay in the shadow?" They don't have so much sunshine, so once they have a sunny day they will get as much sunshine as they can and go outdoors. I think I am longing for sunny days just like they do now. But I know I will still not going out under the sunshine as long as they need......
By the way, this is really a great song. Carpenter's music is one of my favourite classic. She really sang very well as an alto.
