This is a song that I really like. It is from a Japanese TV series: "世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ". This is a very simple story. A boy and a girl fell in love at senior high. The girl was sick and never got back, and the boy couldn't forget his young lover till he knew how much the girl wanted him to live out a good life.
The story was made both into TV-series and movie. The two kind of emphasize on different angle, but both are very nice.
The reason I love TV version better is because of the girl playing Aki, 綾瀬はるか. She was screened so beautiful, caring and naive in that story. I love the scene most where Aki held Saku tightly after they scattered the bone ash of Saku's grandpa in an obsolete train station. Saku couldn't cry out any tears after his grandpa past away. But just after they let go of grandpa's ash, he could hold himself and burst out of tears all of a sudden. And Aki was with him, holding him very very tight. To me, that is where love shows. When she opened her arms, the tenderness is so touching. If lovers can be like this to each other, it should be the most wonderful, isn't it?
